The P2000 | Oceanic pairs a dark coat with a loose pattern of vivid blue motifs, with the grip almost fully blue and the slide mostly black. In Minimal Wear any marks are small and sit on edges, so in hand it looks practically the same as a fresh copy. The appeal here is the full colour scheme at a less demanding grade.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The slide is dark charcoal-black with scattered blue blotches, while the area around the muzzle is light blue and the rear serrations carry bright cyan stripes. The frame continues the black base with blue shapes, and the trigger guard and trigger stay mostly dark.
Light scuffs may appear on the sharpest edges of the slide and at the muzzle. The grip, frame and the main pattern remain clean. In game the difference from Factory New is hard to notice. Inspecting closely shows small grey points where the paint has thinned.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir P2000 | Oceanic is 0–0.6; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (13% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir P2000 | Oceanic belongs to The Chroma 3 Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Chroma 3 Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Blue, cyan, white and holo stickers blend with the scheme, while black or silver ones sit cleanly on the dark slide. Placing stickers on the slide keeps the blue grip pattern visible. A single contrasting colour such as white or light gold can stand out without fighting the print.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the grade, since low floats keep the slide edges and muzzle noticeably cleaner.
- Look at the slide edges and rear serrations first, as the cyan stripes and black paint wear there earliest.
- Inspect the pattern placement on the grip, because the hydrographic print shifts the blue and black shapes from copy to copy.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag and decide whether they fit the blue scheme or would need to be scraped.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-flawless look without chasing the cleanest grade.
- Crafters who are fine with tiny edge marks hidden under stickers.
- Conclusion: practically the full look at a more relaxed grade.
