P2000 | Scorpion is a Restricted pistol finish for the counter-terrorist side, built on an anodized copper-to-orange fade along the slide and a red scorpion decal on the frame. In Factory New the slide keeps its full depth of colour, from dark copper at the rear to bright orange at the muzzle. The silver frame and the scorpion read crisp and unbroken.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The slide is anodized in a rippled fade that runs from deep copper-brown along the top to glowing orange at the front and around the muzzle. The frame, trigger guard and grip stay in a neutral steel-grey, which lets the slide carry most of the colour.
The anodized slide shows an even fade with no scuffs on its edges or the muzzle. The scorpion decal has clean outlines and full colour. In game the orange front of the slide reads bright at normal distance. Every part of the pistol looks as it does on the inspect image.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The float of Souvenir P2000 | Scorpion ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 88% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Dust Collection with 9 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Red, orange, copper or gold stickers echo the slide and the scorpion and keep the craft warm and coherent. Placing them on the grey frame or the grip, away from the decal, keeps the scorpion visible. Dark or black stickers work as a calm contrast.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear, since a low Factory New and a high Minimal Wear can differ slightly on the slide edges.
- Inspect the muzzle face and the top edges of the slide, where the first marks appear.
- On Souvenir copies, look at which stickers are applied and whether they suit the copper colours.
- Check any name tag, as it shows on the inspect screen next to the item name.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Players who want the slide fade at full brightness in first-person view.
- Collectors who prefer a clean base for a coordinated sticker craft.
- The choice for those who want the finish exactly as designed.
