Skin overview

Battle-Scarred turns the clean neon artwork into a rough, chipped version of itself. Large parts of the slide lose paint, yet the cyan, violet and magenta still come through in patches. This is the cheapest way into the skin and has its own worn-out street look.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The slide carries the main artwork: a white and black base crossed by cyan, violet and yellow-green chevrons and stripes, with an orange halftone dot block toward the muzzle. The front of the slide and the muzzle area are kept light, which makes the dots and lines stand out.

Large patches of paint are gone from the slide, leaving the neon stripes in broken fragments. The muzzle and top of the slide are mostly bare. The grip is scuffed on its edges and corners, though magenta still covers much of it. In game it reads as a heavily chipped neon pistol rather than a clean graphic.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Holo and neon stickers in cyan, violet or magenta match the artwork and blend into the slide. White or black stickers placed on the light front part of the slide keep the design clean without clashing with the stripes.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float keeps the white slide noticeably cleaner.
• Look at the top edge of the slide and the muzzle, as these lose paint first.
• Check the corners of the magenta grip on worn copies for visible scuffs.
• Look at applied stickers and name tag, and for Souvenir copies check which stickers come with the item.
