Skin overview

The skin's look rests on contrast: dark brown metal with engraving, bright copper details and a striped red-green inlay at the rear of the slide. Minimal Wear keeps that contrast almost intact, with only small marks on the outer edges. It is a sensible choice for buyers who want a near-clean pistol without paying for the top grade.

Item type: pistol. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The slide is finished in dark brown bronze with fine engraved ornament along its side, and the rear section carries a panel of thin red and green vertical stripes. Pale copper accents mark the slide stop, the trigger, the muzzle edge and the front of the frame.

Light scuffs appear on the muzzle edge and the top edge of the slide. The copper slide stop and trigger can show faint rubbing. At normal distance the pistol looks practically clean. The striped panel, engraving and grip carving remain untouched.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, bronze and dark red stickers match the bronze and copper palette, and green accents echo the striped panel. Placing stickers on the plain area of the slide forward of the stripes keeps the engraving and medallion visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the copper accents and slide edges change noticeably between low and high values.
  • Look at the muzzle, the top edge of the slide and the slide stop, as these parts lose their finish first.
  • Inspect the red-green striped panel for scratches on worn copies.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they affect how the ornate slide reads.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a near-clean look in game without the top-grade cost.
  • Sticker crafters, since the wear is limited to edges.
  • A balanced choice between appearance and saving.
