Skin overview

Red Tide's wine and beige palette survives in Battle-Scarred mostly as overall colour, with the coral lines broken up by wear. The slide shows large patches of bare grey metal, which gives the pistol a salvaged, beaten look that some players prefer to the clean version.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The slide is painted in a pale beige-cream tone with darker mottled marks along its edges and near the muzzle, part of the hydrographic print. The frame, trigger guard and grip are wine red, covered with thin beige coral branches that spread across the front of the frame and down the grip panels.

Large areas of the slide are worn down to bare grey metal, especially around the muzzle and along the edges. The frame and grip show heavy scratching and the coral pattern survives only in fragments. In game the overall red-and-beige split is still visible, but the detail of the artwork is mostly lost.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.75

The whole float range of Souvenir P250 | Red Tide is 0–0.75; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.75 segment (40% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Radiant Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in gold, beige, cream or deep red blend well with the wine and sand palette. Placing them on the beige slide keeps the coral pattern on the frame visible, while darker stickers on the slide create a strong contrast.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the float position within the wear range, since the light slide shows scratches more readily than the red frame.
  • Check the slide edges, muzzle and rear of the slide, as these parts lose paint first.
  • Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so decide whether they fit the look you want.
  • Check for any applied stickers or name tag and make sure they match the warm colour scheme.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players who deliberately look for a battered, bare-metal look.
  • Those who want the cheapest way to get this skin into their loadout.
  • Conclusion: a niche choice for fans of heavy wear and minimal spending.
