Skin overview

Sedimentary reads as a gold-and-copper pistol with fine topographic layers running across the frame. In Field-Tested the overall colour scheme holds, while light scratches appear along the edges and the muzzle. In a match it still looks warm and complete, with the wear noticeable mainly when inspecting the gun up close.

Item type: pistol. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The slide is a copper-brown tone with faint lighter streaks, while the frame and dust cover are bright yellow-gold with thin wavy contour lines and reddish-brown patches, like layers on a topographic map. The grip continues the gold pattern on its sides, with brown textured panels and a brown magazine base.

Scratches spread along the slide edges, around the muzzle and on the front of the frame. The contour lines on edges start to fade, while the flat sides of the frame and grip still hold the pattern well. At normal distance the gun reads as gold and copper with light wear. The grip panels and the centre of the frame look mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir P250 | Sedimentary is 0–0.68; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (34% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Radiant Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

By price this skin is 4th of 7 skins Industrial Grade P250 in this quality (the first being the dearest).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, brown, orange and holo stickers with warm tones blend well with the topographic frame. Placing them on the flat side of the frame or the grip keeps the slide pattern clear. Dark or black stickers can add contrast against the bright yellow.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a grade keeps the slide edges noticeably cleaner.
  • Check the muzzle and the front corners of the slide first, as these lose the finish earliest.
  • If you are looking at a souvenir copy, check whether the applied stickers fit the gold-and-copper colours.
  • Look at any name tag or added stickers to make sure they match your taste.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want the gold and copper colours for everyday use.
  • Budget buyers who accept light wear on the edges.
  • A practical pick for regular play.
