Skin overview

This Covert P250 is built around a green robotic croc whose jaw runs the length of the slide. In Minimal Wear the artwork stays almost untouched, and any marks sit on the very edges of the slide where few players will notice them. It gives nearly the same look as the cleanest grade at a more relaxed level of perfection.

Item type: pistol. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The slide is the crocodile's jaw: bright green plating with a long row of silver teeth on its side, a ribbed darker section at the rear and small yellow highlights on top. Below the slide a line of amber lights runs along the frame, and the trigger guard area shows grey mechanical joints and rivets.

Wear is limited to tiny scuffs on the top edges of the slide and around the muzzle. These marks are small and mostly visible only when inspecting the weapon closely. At normal distance in game the skin looks practically identical to Factory New. The grip, gears, teeth and frame remain clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir P250 | See Ya Later is 0–0.7; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Spectrum 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Spectrum 2 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, yellow and green stickers match the croc's palette, and holographic or gold finishes echo the gears on the grip. Placements along the middle of the slide sit well against the green plating without covering the row of teeth.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the float position within the wear range, since the slide edges and muzzle show the difference first.
  • Inspect the top of the slide and the rear ribbed section, as these parts lose paint before anything else.
  • Check the gold gears on the grip on worn copies, because their condition strongly affects how the skin reads.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether they suit the green-and-gold scheme.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a near-clean look without paying for perfection.
  • Crafters for whom tiny marks on the slide edges do not matter under stickers.
  • In short: almost the Factory New look with a more relaxed standard.
