Skin overview

Battle-Scarred Wingshot keeps the outline of its design — teal base, yellow feather swirls, skull on the grip — but much of the paint is worn through. Bare metal shows on the slide edges, muzzle and raised parts, and the yellow looks broken up. It is the cheapest way to get this artwork and suits players who like a rough, battered look.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The slide is split in two: the front half is dark teal with feather-like strokes and fine yellow speckling around the muzzle, while the rear half is a cream panel with a row of thin yellow vertical stripes. Bright yellow swirls resembling feathers or flames sweep across the slide and continue onto the teal-grey frame and trigger guard area.

Large areas of the slide, muzzle and raised edges show bare metal, and the cream panel is heavily scratched. The yellow swirls and stripes look broken, and the skull on the grip is rubbed at its edges. In game the design reads as a rough outline of yellow on teal rather than a clean picture.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.9

The float of Souvenir P250 | Wingshot ranges from 0 to 0.9; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.9 — 50% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir P250 | Wingshot belongs to The Shadow Collection, which holds 16 skins.

It drops from Shadow Case (on sale since Sep 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Yellow, black and white stickers echo the skin's palette and sit well on the dark teal front of the slide. Gold or holo stickers with warm tones match the yellow swirls, while a single sticker on the cream panel keeps the contrast clean.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the float position within the wear grade, since the cream rear panel shows scratches earlier than the dark parts.
  • Check the slide edges and the muzzle on the inspect screen, as these wear first.
  • Make sure the skull on the grip is intact if it matters to you, especially on the more worn grades.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag, which add nothing to the value for most buyers but change the look.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players who want the cheapest copy of this skin.
  • Fans of a rough, battered look with bare metal showing.
  • Conclusion: a minimal-cost option that keeps only the outline of the design.
