Skin overview

In Field-Tested the P90 | Asiimov starts to show the dark metal under the white paint, mostly along edges and protruding parts. The orange panels and diagonal bands still carry the design, so the weapon remains clearly recognisable in game. The white looks used rather than pristine, which many players accept for a sci-fi finish.

Item type: smg. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver and the large body shell are painted white with dark grey diagonal bands running across the sides and the grip loop. The top rail is bright orange with black diagonal stripes, and small orange markings and a glyph sit on the white panels near the rear.

Dark metal shows through along the edges of the shell, around the grip loop and on the raised areas near the rail. The white starts to look slightly greyish in places. In game the scheme still reads clearly, with wear noticeable mostly when inspecting. The orange panels and stock face keep most of their colour.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir P90 | Asiimov is 0–0.92; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (25% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Orange, white and black stickers match the finish, especially along the white side panel. Holographic or bright red stickers can clash with the orange, so muted or monochrome designs usually sit better.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the amount of exposed dark metal on the white body changes noticeably inside one grade.
• Inspect the grip loop and shell edges, as these lose their white paint first.
• Look at applied stickers and their placement, because they can cover the orange markings on the body.
• Check for a name tag if you prefer the original item name.
