Skin overview

Battle-Scarred turns P90 | Desert Halftone into a heavily chipped desert gun where bare metal takes a large share of the body. The brown streaks survive mostly on the flat sides, so the camouflage still shows through the damage.

Item type: smg. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The whole polymer body of the P90, from the rounded nose to the stock, is painted in a sand tan base with irregular brown streaks running along its length. Up close the paint is built from a fine halftone dot pattern, which gives the camouflage a grainy, printed texture.

Bare metal dominates the nose, the top line and the edges of every opening, and chipping reaches onto the sides. The halftone grain survives only in scattered patches. In game the P90 reads as a battered grey-and-tan gun, with the clearest paint left on the rear of the body.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.65

The float of Souvenir P90 | Desert Halftone ranges from 0 to 0.65; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.65 — 31% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir P90 | Desert Halftone belongs to The Radiant Collection, which holds 28 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

Among 6 skins of the P90 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in brown, sand, olive or matte black blend well with the desert palette and the dark sights. Placing them on the flat side of the body keeps the halftone streaks around them visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low value in a grade means a cleaner nose and edges.
  • Look at the front of the body and the thumbhole rims, as these are the first places the paint chips.
  • Check for applied stickers and a name tag, which can add to the price or not suit your taste.
  • The streak placement varies between copies, so compare screenshots if you want more brown on the visible side.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players who want the most affordable way to replace the default P90.
  • Collectors of heavily worn looks who like bare metal showing through camouflage.
  • Conclusion: the budget pick with a distinctly battered character.
