Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the roughest version of the Elite Build, where large areas of grey metal break through the dark paint. Orange pinstripes and text decals survive only in fragments, mostly on the flat sides of the body. The weathered look fits the military theme of the finish.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The whole P90 is covered in a dark graphite grey with a subtle textured hydrographic print that is most visible on the grip and the lower body. The receiver and the top rail carry thin orange pinstripes and small printed text, and the sides feature a winged orange emblem and a round logo on the rear of the stock.

Large patches of grey metal cover the top of the weapon, the muzzle, the grip curves and the stock edges. The orange pinstripes and decals remain only as fragments, and the textured print is broken up across the body. The deepest parts of the side panels keep some dark paint and pieces of the markings. In game the P90 reads as grey and scratched with occasional orange spots.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1

The whole float range of Souvenir P90 | Elite Build is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Falchion Collection with 16 skins in total.

It drops from Falchion Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Orange, black, grey and matte metallic stickers continue the tactical colour scheme of the Elite Build. Placements on the flat side of the receiver and stock keep them next to the original markings without covering the winged emblem. Bright multicolour stickers will stand out strongly against the dark base.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a worn grade keeps more of the orange markings.
  • Check the top rail, sights and muzzle first, because these parts lose paint before the rest of the body.
  • Make sure the winged emblem and the stock logo are still readable if the orange details matter to you.
  • Check existing stickers and the name tag, as they change how the dark body reads.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players who prefer a heavily weathered military look.
  • Budget buyers who want the skin at its lowest grade.
  • Collectors putting together full sets of wears.
  • The pick for those who see heavy wear as part of the style.
