Skin overview

The skin is easy to recognise by its cyan hexagon grid laid over shifting teal and deep blue tones, with copper-brown metal parts framing the body. In Minimal Wear the overall look is practically the same as a fresh copy, with only light marks that are hard to spot outside close inspection. It keeps the bright metallic character while usually asking less than the top grade.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New and Field-Tested. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The main body, including the receiver sides, the area around the thumbhole grip and the stock, is painted in metallic teal and cyan with a fine hexagonal grid over it. Darker blue patches break up the colour along the shroud and the rear of the stock, so the hex cells shift between bright and deep tones.

Small marks may appear on the tips of the sights, the front edge of the body and the corners of the top rail. The large teal surfaces of the receiver and stock stay clean and keep their metallic shine. At normal viewing distance the difference from Factory New is hard to notice. The hex pattern remains fully readable across the whole weapon.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir P90 | Module is 0–0.35; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir P90 | Module belongs to The Huntsman Collection, which holds 20 skins.

The source is Huntsman Weapon Case (on sale since Jun 11, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in cyan, teal, deep blue or holographic blue tones blend with the metallic body and hex pattern. For contrast, copper, bronze or dark red accents echo the brown hardware. Placements on the wide flat side of the stock keep the hex grid visible around them.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the clean end of a grade show fewer edge marks.
  • Inspect the sights, the top rail and the front edge of the body, as these parts lose paint first.
  • Look at any applied stickers and how they sit against the teal body and copper-brown parts.
  • Note whether a name tag is attached and whether you want it on the weapon.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a near-new look in game while paying less than for the top grade.
  • Sticker crafters for whom tiny edge marks are not a concern.
  • Conclusion: a balanced choice with almost the same look as Factory New.
