Skin overview

The skin pairs a cold steel-blue base with warm orange striping on the drum magazine, shroud and grip, plus hazard trefoils on the side of the receiver. Minimal Wear keeps that contrast almost intact, with only slight thinning of paint on sharp corners. For most players it is visually indistinguishable from the top grade at a lower cost.

Item type: smg. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver and barrel shroud are painted in a muted blue-grey with darker shading and diagonal rust-orange bands running across them. Yellow radiation trefoils sit on the side of the receiver, giving the finish its warning-sign character.

Small specks of missing paint may appear on the front edge of the magazine and the corners of the receiver. The stripes and trefoils remain intact. From the first-person view the difference from Factory New is hard to spot. The grip and shroud still look clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir PP-Bizon | Irradiated Alert is 0.06–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Yellow, orange and black stickers echo the hazard theme and sit well on the blue-grey receiver. Warning-sign or industrial designs placed along the receiver side, away from the trefoils, keep the artwork readable.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the wear range, since low floats keep the orange stripes and trefoils noticeably sharper.
  • Look at the drum magazine and grip in the inspect view, as these show paint loss first.
  • Make sure the radiation symbols on the receiver are still readable if they matter to you.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag, which add little resale value on a Consumer Grade skin.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want an almost clean look and do not need the top grade.
  • Sticker crafters looking for a tidy base at low cost.
  • Conclusion: practically the same look as Factory New for less.
