Skin overview
Banana Cannon turns the R8 into a speckled yellow fruit with branded stickers and a barcode on the barrel. In Field-Tested the wear starts to blend with the brown spots, so the banana looks even riper and more bruised. Many buyers find that this grade suits the theme rather than spoiling it.
Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The barrel shroud and the grip are painted bright banana yellow with scattered brown speckles and darker bruise-like patches, imitating an overripe peel. The cylinder and frame stay dark gunmetal with a brownish, aged tint, while the top rail is dark and the underbarrel rail is plain grey.
Wear spreads along the top of the barrel and the muzzle, and the first rubbed spots show on the finger grooves of the grip. The label edges start to soften. At normal distance the revolver still reads as bright yellow, just more mottled. The sides of the barrel and the centre of the grip mostly keep their paint.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir R8 Revolver | Banana Cannon is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Revolution Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Revolution Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Blue and yellow stickers repeat the label colours and look natural on this skin. Food or fruit themed stickers on the barrel extend the joke, while dark or brown ones blend with the speckles.
What to check before buying
- Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since the paint on the muzzle and barrel edges changes noticeably inside one grade.
- Do not confuse the printed brown speckles with real wear; compare the inspect view with a clean copy.
- Check the blue labels and the barcode, as their faded edges show the real condition quickly.
- Check applied stickers and a name tag, because they cover parts of the yellow artwork.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like the bruised banana look that wear adds.
- Buyers looking for a balance of cost and appearance.
- Conclusion: a grade where wear fits the theme.
