Skin overview
The skin is a teal spray coat over dark steel, and in Well-Worn the steel takes a larger share of the look. Rubbed patches spread across the frame, hammer and the finger grooves of the grip, giving the revolver a used workshop feel. The teal tone is still the main colour you notice in hand.
Item type: pistol. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The frame and barrel shroud are coated in a dusty teal with short diagonal blue spray strokes, while the dark base metal shows along the top rail, the ejector rod housing and the edges of the frame. The muzzle and the chamber ends of the cylinder stay bare silver, which gives the front of the revolver a light accent against the cool paint.
Wear spreads from the edges onto the frame sides and the barrel shroud in uneven patches, and the cylinder loses much of its paint. The finger grooves and lower edge of the grip show rubbed spots. In game the dark metal is noticeable but the teal still sets the tone. The central grip panel holds its colour best.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The float of Souvenir R8 Revolver | Canal Spray ranges from 0.06 to 0.6; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 13% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir R8 Revolver | Canal Spray belongs to The Canals Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Blue, teal, silver and white stickers keep the cool palette, while a single orange or gold sticker gives a clear accent against the blue-green. Placements on the frame side above the trigger stay visible without covering the spray strokes.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the top rail and muzzle edges show the difference first.
- Look at the cylinder and hammer, which lose paint early on worn copies.
- On Souvenir copies, check which pre-applied stickers are on the revolver and how they sit on the teal coat.
- Check for a name tag or applied stickers if you plan your own craft.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Budget players who want the colour of the skin without paying for clean grades.
- Fans of a used, workshop-style finish.
- Conclusion: a practical entry with character.
