Skin overview

Battle-Scarred Analog Input shows the heaviest damage this skin can get, with worn-through patches on the colour bands and the red trim. The float range of this finish stops short of the deepest values, so the bands remain readable as four separate colours. The rough, scratched look fits players who prefer a gun that appears to have seen many rounds.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The barrel, pump grip and stock are covered in a dark grey, finely textured finish, with red caps on the muzzle and magazine tube and a thin red line running along the top of the barrel. The receiver is wrapped in diagonal bands of yellow, green, blue and red, each carrying a faint embossed letter from the X, Y, B and A set.

Large worn patches cover the colour bands, and the red muzzle caps and trim are heavily rubbed. The letters are mostly lost in the wear. The dark barrel and stock show scratches, but their texture masks much of the damage. Because the float range is capped, the four bands remain recognisable in game.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.619

The float of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Analog Input ranges from 0 to 0.619; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.619 — 27% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Kilowatt Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Kilowatt Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in the same yellow, green, blue and red tones suit the receiver and extend the controller theme. Dark or monochrome stickers placed on the barrel or stock keep the colour bands as the main focus. Gaming-themed designs fit the button-letter motif well.

What to check before buying

  • Look at where the float sits within the wear range, as the colour bands lose paint quickly once wear starts.
  • Check the edges of the bands and the raised corners of the receiver, the first places where scratches show.
  • Inspect the red muzzle caps and the barrel line, since chips there are visible in first-person view.
  • Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they suit the colourful receiver.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Budget entry players who want the colour bands at the lowest grade.
  • Fans of a rough, scratched look who still want the four colours readable.
  • Conclusion: the cheapest entry, recognisable thanks to the capped wear range.
