Skin overview
The skin is easy to spot by its red-on-red look: a dense batik leaf print on the barrel and receiver, with a smooth red pump and grip. Minimal Wear keeps that look almost intact, and any faint marks sit on edges that are hard to see in a match. It gives nearly the same picture as the cleanest grade at a more modest step up.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The barrel, the receiver and the area around the trigger guard are covered with a crimson base overlaid with dark grey-black batik lines that form looping banana leaf shapes. The ribbed pump forend and the pistol-grip stock are finished in solid matte red with no pattern, which frames the busy print in the middle.
Small light marks may appear on the muzzle ring and the sharpest edges of the receiver. The leaf pattern on the flat surfaces remains fully intact. At normal distance in a match the difference from Factory New is practically invisible. The forend and stock still look clean.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Crimson Batik ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 13% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Harlequin Collection with 19 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
By price this skin is 2nd of 5 skins Consumer Grade Sawed-Off in this quality (the first being the dearest).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, dark grey and gold stickers sit well on the crimson batik and echo its dark leaf lines. Red stickers blend into the finish for a tonal craft, while white or bright accents are best kept small so they do not fight the busy pattern on the receiver.
What to check before buying
- Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in a grade keeps the barrel and muzzle noticeably cleaner.
- Check the muzzle ring, the top of the barrel and the receiver edges in the inspect view, as these lose the print first.
- Look at any applied stickers and name tag, because they change both the look and the value of the copy.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Crafters for whom tiny edge marks do not matter under stickers.
- A sensible balance of look and cost.
