Skin overview
The Mosaico hydrographic is built on sandy, cream and brown tiles, and in Battle-Scarred that pattern is broken up by heavy scuffing. Bare metal shows along the barrel, muzzle and receiver, and the stock and pump look dull and stained. It is the cheapest way to carry this earthy finish, with a rough, weathered look.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver is covered in a mosaic of irregular beige, cream and brown tiles separated by dark seams, and the same pattern runs along the barrel and magazine tube with a denser, more speckled section near the muzzle. The pump is a smooth brown with ribbed grooves, and a dark metal band separates the receiver from the barrel assembly.
Heavy scuffing breaks up the mosaic across the barrel and receiver, and bare metal is clearly visible along the edges and at the muzzle. The stock and pump look dull, stained and scratched. Only fragments of the tile pattern remain readable on the flatter parts of the receiver. In game the shotgun looks rough and weathered.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.8
The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Mosaico is 0.06–0.8; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.8 segment (47% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Sawed-Off | Mosaico belongs to The Alpha Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Taking Battle-Scarred as the baseline:
- Factory New — 4.2× dearer
- Field-Tested — 2.5× dearer
Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.
Among 3 skins of the Sawed-Off in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in gold, brown, beige or muted earth tones blend with the tile pattern and the pump. A single darker sticker on the receiver can stand out cleanly against the light mosaic, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the warm palette.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the clean end of a grade keep the muzzle and receiver edges noticeably better.
- Look at the muzzle and the top edge of the barrel first, as these lose the hydrographic film earliest.
- Inspect the pale stock near the butt, where scuffs and grime show most clearly.
- On souvenir copies, check which pre-applied stickers are present and whether they suit your plans.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget entry for anyone who wants this finish on their Sawed-Off.
- Players who prefer a rough, heavily weathered look.
- The cheapest grade, chosen for character rather than cleanliness.
