Show allAllSkin overview
Runoff pairs warm wood with a case-hardened receiver, and in Battle-Scarred the signs of use take over. Much of the blue-violet tint is gone from exposed metal, the barrels look rubbed, and the wood is marked across the forend and grip. It is the rough, utilitarian version of this Sawed-Off.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
It is painted in the case hardening technique.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The barrels and magazine tube are dark gunmetal grey with a slight sheen. The pump forend is warm orange-brown wood with deep grip ribs, and the pistol grip stock is finished in the same wood tone.
Much of the hardening tint is gone, leaving bare metal across the receiver edges and large areas of its sides. The barrels look heavily rubbed, and the wood is scratched along the forend ribs and the grip. In game the gun reads as an old working shotgun, with the violet tint only hinted at. Traces of colour remain mostly in the recessed parts of the receiver.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.781
The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Runoff is 0–0.781; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.781 segment (42% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Ascent Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 8 skins of the Sawed-Off in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Brown, gold and dark blue or violet stickers match the wood and the receiver tint. Stickers placed on the receiver sit next to the main colour accent, while bright neon colours will stand out sharply against the muted palette.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float position within the wear: a low value keeps more of the receiver tint.
- Check the inspect screenshot, because the spread of blue and violet on the receiver depends on the pattern.
- On worn copies check the receiver edges and the forend ribs, as they lose the finish first.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag, since they change the look of a restrained finish.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Players who prefer a rough, utilitarian Sawed-Off.
- The most budget-friendly way to put this finish in the loadout.
- For those who like an old shotgun with only a hint of colour.
