Souvenir Sawed-Off | Sage Spray (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

Sage Spray is a simple pale camouflage of beige and sage green sprayed by hand onto the Sawed-Off. In Battle-Scarred much of the paint is gone from the muzzle, the pump and the stock, and the gun shows a patchy mix of faded colour and bare metal. For a finish meant to look improvised, this heavily worn state still reads as intentional.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The base of the finish is a light sandy beige, covered with soft, blurred sage-green and grey patches that run across the barrel shroud, receiver and stock. The ribbed pump fore-end and the muzzle carry warmer reddish-brown streaks, and the butt of the stock has a similar rusty tint.

Large areas of paint are gone from the muzzle, the whole fore-end and the rear of the stock. The receiver shows heavy scratching with bare metal across the edges and parts of the sides. Only patches of faded beige and sage remain on the flatter surfaces. Because the float range ends before the maximum, even the worst copies keep some of the pattern.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Muted stickers in sand, olive, brown or off-white blend into the desert palette. Placements on the receiver side work best, as the beige there gives a calm background. A single dark or rusty-red sticker can echo the warm streaks on the fore-end.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the muzzle and the fore-end ribs, as they show wear first on this finish.
• Do not pay extra for pattern, since the random spray marks make copies look nearly identical.
• Check whether the copy is a Souvenir, as that version carries tournament stickers applied at drop.
• Compare floats within the grade, because a low float in Field-Tested looks close to Minimal Wear.
