Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred is the most affordable way to carry this design, with a heavily worn gunmetal surface and faded geometric lines. The bronze accents survive as duller spots against a scratched base. The overall dark tone still keeps the rifle from looking out of place.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and handguard are covered in a dark gunmetal finish cut by thin angular lines that form triangular facets, creating the impression that the weapon's geometry has shifted. The long barrel and muzzle brake are bronze, and the same warm tone repeats on the rail sections, the scope trim and thin stripes on the magazine.
The gunmetal surface is heavily scratched across the receiver, handguard and magazine. The geometric lines are faded and the bronze accents remain only as dull patches. In game the rifle looks dark and rough rather than patterned. No part of the finish keeps its original sharpness.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.78
The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Fragments is 0–0.78; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.78 segment (42% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir SCAR-20 | Fragments belongs to The Revolution Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Revolution Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Gold, bronze and black stickers match the warm accents and the dark base of this finish. Placing them on the receiver side keeps them in line with the faceted pattern, while bright colours tend to break the restrained palette.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the clean end of a grade look noticeably better.
- Look at the muzzle brake, rail edges and magazine corners, which lose their bronze tone first.
- Make sure the facet lines on the receiver are still readable on worn copies, as they carry the whole design.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, since they change how the dark receiver reads.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Players looking for the cheapest entry into this skin.
- Those who like a rough, heavily used rifle look.
- A budget pick where the dark tone matters more than the pattern.
