Show allAllSkin overview
Sirocco Script reads as a tan rifle with a busy calligraphic texture, matching the desert theme of its description. In Field-Tested the paint starts to break on rails, edges and the scope tube, showing grey metal underneath. The overall sand-and-brown look still holds well at normal viewing distance.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver, handguard, scope body, magazine and stock are painted a sandy ochre with a dense overlay of dark brown pseudo-calligraphic strokes and arabesque curves. The barrel, muzzle device, rail sections, pistol grip and the stock's adjustable parts stay in dark gunmetal and black, framing the painted areas.
Wear becomes visible on the rail tops, handguard edges, the scope tube and the lower edge of the magazine, where grey metal shows through. The flat sides of the receiver and stock keep most of the sand paint and script. In game the rifle still reads as tan and patterned, with light scratches noticeable when inspecting. Cleaner copies of this grade look close to Minimal Wear.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Sirocco Script is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Arabesque Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in gold, brown, beige or dark tones blend with the ochre base and the script pattern. Placing them on the flat sides of the receiver or stock keeps the calligraphy on the handguard visible. Bright cold colours will stand out sharply against the warm finish.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the full float range makes the difference between clean and heavy copies of the same grade noticeable.
- Inspect the scope tube, top rails and magazine bottom, as these lose paint first on this finish.
- Look at the stock and receiver sides to judge how much of the script pattern is still readable.
- Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether they suit the sand-and-brown colours.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who look at the rifle mostly in game, where the pattern still holds.
- Buyers who like light wear on a desert-themed finish.
- Conclusion: a practical everyday choice.
