Skin overview

This SG 553 carries a dark slate base with a blue hibiscus pattern that gives the rifle a cool, low-contrast look. In Field-Tested the paint starts to chip along the rails, the magazine edges and the stock, but the overall colour scheme and the cyan flowers remain clearly recognisable. Because the base is already dark and muted, moderate wear blends in well.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The whole rifle is coated in a dark slate-violet paint with a darker, mottled texture. Cyan and light-blue hibiscus prints are scattered over the ribbed handguard, the receiver, the curved magazine and the stock, with smaller accents on the scope and pistol grip.

Chipping becomes visible along the handguard rails, the magazine edges and the ribs of the stock. Some cyan prints near these areas lose small pieces. In game the rifle still reads as dark violet with blue flowers, and the wear mostly blends into the dark base. The flat sides of the receiver and the grip remain largely clean.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in cyan, light blue or white match the flower prints, while holo and foil stickers with cool tones stand out well against the dark base. The flat side of the receiver gives the cleanest placement area.

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in a worn grade keeps more of the flower prints.
• Inspect the handguard rails and magazine edges first, as these lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
• Look at the stock ribs and the top of the receiver on Field-Tested and lower copies.
• Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they fit the dark blue colour scheme.
