Skin overview

The skin is recognisable by its layered olive camouflage and the orange contour lines running along the rifle. In Field-Tested the camouflage still reads clearly, while the thin orange details begin to lose sharpness on the edges and raised parts. Because the pattern is a camouflage, light wear blends into it rather than breaking it.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver and the railed handguard are covered in an olive and khaki camouflage with darker green patches. Thin orange and yellow lines run across the handguard, receiver and stock like survey contours or technical markings, adding the only warm colour to the scheme.

Scratches spread along the handguard rails, the muzzle area and the edges of the magazine, and the thin orange lines start to break up there. The camouflage on the receiver and the flat sides of the stock still holds well. In game the wear mostly hides inside the camouflage pattern. The rifle reads as used but tidy.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir SG 553 | Atlas ranges from 0 to 0.81; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 28% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir SG 553 | Atlas belongs to The Chroma 3 Collection, which holds 17 skins.

The source is Chroma 3 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in olive, black, brown or muted gold blend with the camouflage, while orange or amber accents echo the thin linework. Placements on the receiver above the magazine and on the flat handguard sides keep the pattern readable.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits inside the wear range, since a low float in a grade keeps the handguard rails and magazine edges noticeably cleaner.
  • Look at the orange lines on the handguard and magazine, as they are the first detail to fade and define how fresh the skin looks.
  • Inspect the muzzle and stock corners in the preview for exposed metal on worn copies.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag, and whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want a good-looking rifle for everyday matches.
  • Buyers who like that the camouflage hides moderate wear.
  • The practical middle option for regular play.
