Skin overview

The skin is easy to recognise by its single block of industrial yellow in the middle of an otherwise dark rifle. Minimal Wear keeps that block almost intact, with only small marks that are hard to spot without zooming in. For a finish this plain, it gives nearly the same look as the cleanest grade.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The upper and lower receiver are painted a bright, flat yellow, including the area around the magazine well and trigger guard. The railed handguard, barrel, stock, pistol grip and magazine are dark grey, and the scope stays black.

Tiny marks may appear on the sharpest receiver edges, mostly at higher floats. The yellow surface is otherwise intact. At normal viewing distance it is very hard to tell apart from Factory New. Handguard, stock and magazine look clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir SG 553 | Bulldozer is 0.06–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Chop Shop Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, yellow and grey stickers suit the construction-machine theme, as do warning-style or hazard-stripe designs. Placing stickers on the grey handguard keeps the yellow receiver clear, while a single dark sticker on the yellow area adds contrast.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the yellow receiver shows chipping quickly as the float rises.
• Look at the receiver edges and the magazine well rim, as these lose paint first.
