Show allAllSkin overview
Pulse is easy to identify by its fuchsia-and-grey fragment pattern even when the paint is tired. In Well-Worn the pink loses some brightness and the grey base shows through on the rails, magazine and stock edges. The overall colour scheme still reads clearly from a distance.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The handguard and rails are painted fuchsia with dark grey shard-like fragments running along their length. The upper receiver and scope stay dark grey, while the lower receiver, trigger guard and pistol grip carry solid hot pink.
The rails and handguard lose a noticeable amount of pink, and the fragment pattern blurs at the edges. The magazine shows grey base metal along its sides, and the stock corners are clearly scratched. The pink grip begins to collect light scuffs as well. At normal distance the rifle still reads as pink and grey, though less vivid.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The float of Souvenir SG 553 | Pulse ranges from 0.1 to 0.6; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 14% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir SG 553 | Pulse belongs to The Phoenix Collection, which holds 13 skins.
The source is Operation Phoenix Weapon Case (on sale since Feb 19, 2014).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Pink, magenta and holo stickers blend with the fuchsia fragments, while black, grey or white stickers echo the dark base. Placing them on the grey upper receiver keeps the pink handguard pattern uncovered.
What to check before buying
- Minimal Wear is the cleanest grade available, so compare floats within it if you want the brightest pink.
- Look at the rail ridges and magazine edges, since they show wear first.
- Check the stock corners and muzzle area on Field-Tested and worse copies.
- Review applied stickers and any name tag, as they affect how the pink-and-grey scheme reads.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Budget buyers who still want a recognisable pink SG 553.
- Players who like a slightly faded, used finish.
- Conclusion: a sensible saving with the colour scheme intact.
