Show allAllSkin overview
The rifle carries a muted safari print in browns and sandy orange that reads as one earthy tone at a glance. Minimal Wear keeps that look almost untouched, with only faint marks that are hard to spot outside close inspection. It gives nearly the clean appearance at a lower grade.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The hydrographic print runs over the entire rifle: barrel, ribbed handguard, receiver, magazine, pistol grip, stock and the scope body all share the same pattern. The base is a warm ochre and tan, crossed by wavy dark brown streaks that imitate animal hide.
Tiny scuffs may appear on the muzzle and the sharpest handguard ribs. The receiver, grip, stock and scope stay intact. At normal distance it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. Only a close look in inspect reveals the marks.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir SG 553 | Safari Print ranges from 0 to 0.7; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Harlequin Collection with 19 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Among 7 skins of the SG 553 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 3rd by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Gold, brown, beige and olive stickers sit naturally on the earthy print. Placements on the flat side of the receiver and the magazine keep the pattern readable on the handguard. Muted paper or holo stickers in warm tones work better than bright neon.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end show less metal on the edges.
- Inspect the handguard ribs, magazine bottom and muzzle, as these lose the print first.
- Pattern placement shifts slightly between copies but rarely changes the overall look of this animal print.
- On Souvenir copies and crafted items, check that the applied stickers and name tag fit the brown palette.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want an almost clean rifle while saving on the top grade.
- Crafters who are fine with marks visible only in inspect.
- A sensible compromise between look and cost.
