Skin overview

This SG 553 is recognised by its tan camo body framed by a dark handguard and orange pinstripes. In Field-Tested the camo is still readable, but scratches appear on the handguard rails, the magazine and the stock edges, and some orange lines start to break up. At normal distance it keeps its desert look, with a slightly used character.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver and stock are covered in a sand-coloured desert camo with soft lighter and darker tan patches. The handguard is dark charcoal with full-length rails and small light markings, and the barrel and scope stay dark with orange accents.

Scratches become visible on the handguard rails, the magazine edges and the stock outline. The orange lines show gaps, mostly on the handguard and near the muzzle. The camo on the receiver is somewhat dulled but still clearly readable. In game the rifle looks used yet keeps its colour scheme.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir SG 553 | Triarch ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Gamma 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Gamma 2 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, orange, black and sand-toned stickers match the tan camo and orange trim. Placements on the dark handguard stand out well, while warm-toned stickers on the receiver blend with the camo.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the orange lines and handguard edges change noticeably between low and high values.
  • Look at the muzzle, magazine corners and stock edges in the inspect view, as these lose paint first.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they change the look of the tan receiver.
  • Souvenir copies carry their own stickers, so make sure their placement suits you.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who want the full desert colour scheme for everyday matches.
  • Buyers who do not mind light scratches on the rails and magazine.
  • Conclusion: a practical choice for regular play.
