Skin overview

In Well-Worn the orange glow on the handguard is broken by grey scuffs, and the finer lines of the scales start to fade. From the first-person view the rifle still shows a fiery front and a dark scaled body. This grade suits players who care more about the motif than a clean surface.

Item type: sniper rifle. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The handguard is painted in a bright orange-to-red flame gradient with glowing slots along its side, and a dark dragon head with bared teeth sits near the scope mount. Behind it the receiver, grip and stock are covered in dark teal and black scales lit by orange highlights, with bone-coloured details on the grip and stock.

The orange handguard is visibly scuffed, with grey patches breaking the gradient. Scratches reach the scales on the receiver and blur their finer lines, while the grip and stock lose paint on all raised areas. In game the wear is clear on the front of the rifle. The dragon head stays readable, though slightly dulled.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir SSG 08 | Dragonfire is 0–0.5; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (14% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir SSG 08 | Dragonfire belongs to The Glove Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from Glove Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, orange and gold stickers continue the flame theme of the handguard. Dark or teal stickers blend into the scaled body, while holographic or foil ones placed along the receiver catch the orange highlights. Avoid covering the dragon head near the scope mount.

What to check before buying

  • Check the float position within the wear range, since a low value in a grade keeps the orange front noticeably cleaner.
  • Inspect the edges of the handguard and the corners of the stock, as they lose paint first.
  • Look at the dragon head near the scope mount, the part buyers notice most.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they change both the look and the value to other buyers.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Players who want the dragon motif and do not mind visible scuffs.
  • Those who like a used look on a bright finish.
  • Conclusion: a budget way to own the artwork with clear wear.
