Show allAllSkin overview
Citric Acid combines a yellow and green base with dark paint splatter for a sharp, acidic palette. In Battle-Scarred the finish is heavily scraped on edges and protruding parts, while the large flat panels still carry the yellow. It is a rough, cheap way to get the colour scheme on the Tec-9.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and the upper body are painted bright yellow and covered with a thin dark splatter of lines and specks. The perforated barrel shroud combines yellow and dark tones, while the muzzle, the charging handle, the trigger and small details are lime green.
The edges, the muzzle, the shroud and the magazine are heavily scraped. Wear reaches the grip and parts of the receiver panels, mixing with the dark splatter. The large flat surfaces still keep the yellow base, so the scheme does not disappear. In game the pistol looks rough and used, yet the colour remains recognisable.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.6
The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Citric Acid is 0–0.6; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.6 segment (25% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Tec-9 | Citric Acid belongs to The Radiant Collection, which holds 28 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
By price this skin is 6th of 7 skins Industrial Grade Tec-9 in this quality (the first being the dearest).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Black, dark green and yellow stickers follow the finish palette and suit the flat side of the receiver. Lime or neon green accents echo the muzzle and the charging handle, while red or blue stickers will stand out sharply against the yellow.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float within the chosen wear, since lower values keep the receiver edges and the muzzle cleaner.
- Look at the shroud openings and the magazine corners, where paint loss shows first.
- Check applied stickers and a name tag, as they change how the yellow body reads.
- Compare a souvenir copy with a regular one if the souvenir stickers matter to you.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- The cheapest entry into the Citric Acid colour scheme.
- Players who prefer a rough, heavily used look.
- A budget option where the yellow still survives on the main panels.
