Skin overview

Garter-9 keeps its basic look in Well-Worn: an olive pistol with a snakeskin top. The scaled print is noticeably thinned on the shroud rims and the upper edges, and the lime accents lose some of their brightness. The overall green palette still holds the theme together.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The upper receiver and the perforated barrel shroud carry a green snakeskin print with yellowish highlights on the scales. The rims of the shroud holes and the muzzle are picked out in bright lime, which frames the pattern.

The shroud rims and muzzle lose much of their lime colour, and the print thins along the top of the receiver. Scratches spread onto the edges of the grip and magazine. The centre of the shroud sides still keeps the scale pattern. In game the pistol reads as green and scaled but visibly used.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Garter-9 is 0–0.7; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Green, lime, yellow and black stickers sit naturally on this finish. Placements on the plain olive lower receiver stand out best, while the scaled top is better left uncovered or paired with a single small sticker.
