Skin overview

The Ice Cap finish keeps all the colour on the front half of the pistol: a deep blue field broken by lighter blue and white spots, set against a neutral grey lower body. In Minimal Wear the difference from a pristine copy comes down to tiny marks along the shroud edges. These marks are hardly noticeable in game.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The finish covers the perforated barrel shroud, the muzzle and the upper receiver around the cocking handle. The base is a dark navy blue, broken up by an abstract mottled pattern of brighter blue and white spots.

Small specks of wear may appear on the muzzle tip and a few hole rims. The rest of the shroud and the receiver top stay intact. At normal viewing distance it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The grey frame, grip and magazine remain clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Ice Cap ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 16% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

White, silver and icy blue stickers, including holographic or foil ones, continue the cold palette of the shroud. The grey lower receiver is a calm surface for a single bright sticker. A warm accent such as orange or red stands out sharply against the blue.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low value in a grade means a cleaner shroud.
• Look at the muzzle and the rims of the shroud holes on the inspect screenshots, as these wear first.
• Compare Battle-Scarred with Well-Worn side by side, because the shortened range keeps the worst grade relatively tidy.
• Check applied stickers and name tags to make sure they match your plans for the pistol.
