Skin overview

This wear keeps the tan coating of Raw Ceramic almost intact, with only faint marks on the sharpest edges. At normal viewing distance it is hard to tell from a Factory New copy. It suits a buyer who wants a clean solid colour without insisting on the top grade.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver, the perforated barrel shroud and the grip are painted in one solid tan tone with a matte surface. The magazine carries a slightly paler, creamy shade of the same colour.

Tiny scuffs may appear on the sharpest edges, such as the hole rims of the shroud and the charging handle. They are visible only up close in inspect. In normal play the finish looks as uniform as Factory New. The grip, the receiver sides and the magazine remain clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Raw Ceramic ranges from 0 to 0.75; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

Among 7 skins of the Tec-9 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 4th by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Brown, olive, black and gold stickers suit the sand-toned finish and keep a military look. A single bright sticker in red or orange works as an accent on the receiver side. The plain surface leaves room for a sticker combination to carry the whole design.

What to check before buying

  • Check the float position within the wear range, since on a solid colour every scratch is easy to see.
  • Look at the edges of the shroud holes and the charging handle, where the paint goes first.
  • The finish has no pattern, so pattern seed does not change the look.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they stand out clearly on the plain tan surface.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look without aiming for the top grade.
  • Crafters for whom tiny edge marks do not matter under stickers.
  • A sensible middle ground between condition and cost.
