Skin overview

Re-Entry is defined by its fiery barrel shroud and contrasting teal highlights against a neutral grey frame. In Field-Tested the flame pattern is still clearly readable, but scuffs appear around the shroud holes and on the muzzle end. It is the grade where the skin starts to look used rather than fresh.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The barrel shroud carries the main artwork: red and orange flames over a dark base, broken up by teal patches between the ventilation holes. The top rail and the upper part of the receiver pick up a teal-blue anodized tone, and the cocking knob is a bright orange accent.

Scuffs spread around the shroud holes and along the muzzle end, and the top rail edges begin to lose colour. The flames are still readable, though some areas look slightly dulled. In game the red and teal scheme remains clear, with wear visible mainly on close inspection. The centre of the shroud keeps most of its colour.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Re-Entry is 0–0.43; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (53% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Chroma 3 Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Chroma 3 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, orange or teal stickers echo the flame artwork and work well on the shroud or receiver. The plain grey lower body and magazine are a neutral area where darker or holo stickers stand out without clashing with the pattern.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the upper edge show more rubbed edges.
  • Look at the muzzle end and the rims of the shroud holes, as they lose colour first.
  • Inspect the top rail for scuffs, because the teal accent there is easy to notice in first-person view.
  • For Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and whether they suit the flame artwork.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who want the flame Tec-9 for regular matches.
  • Budget buyers who care more about the colour scheme than clean edges.
  • A practical everyday option.
