Show allAllSkin overview
In Battle-Scarred the Sultan mosaic remains recognisable by its turquoise and blue palette, but large areas of the gold frame are worn through. Edges, the barrel shroud and the bottom of the magazine show bare patches that give the weapon a heavily used look. It is the most affordable way to carry this design, chosen by players who like a weathered finish.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The barrel shroud is covered in turquoise and blue tiles between the round cut-outs, with gold rims around each hole and a gold muzzle. The receiver combines brass-gold rails with mosaic panels and a white insert carrying dark ornamental lettering, while a white medallion with a sun-like motif sits on the magazine well.
Large bare patches cover the frame edges, the shroud, the trigger guard and the lower half of the magazine. The mosaic is broken up by scratches and the fine ornament is partly lost. In game the pistol reads as a faded turquoise piece with a rough gold frame. Only the flatter central areas of the receiver and grip retain clear tile details.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Sultan is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Tec-9 | Sultan belongs to The Arabesque Collection, which holds 17 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
By price this skin is 6th of 10 skins Mil-Spec Grade Tec-9 in this quality (the first being the dearest).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, turquoise and deep blue stickers blend with the mosaic and frame. Small holo or foil stickers with orange accents work well on the receiver panel, while busy multicoloured stickers tend to get lost in the pattern.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the gold edges and shroud rims show the difference first.
- Inspect the bottom of the magazine and the trigger guard, which wear before the rest of the finish.
- Look at the white medallion and the grip ornament to see how much fine detail is left.
- Check any applied stickers or name tag, as they change how the busy mosaic reads.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Players looking for the cheapest entry to this design.
- Fans of heavily weathered finishes with exposed metal.
- The budget choice for a worn, character-heavy look.
