Show allAllSkin overview
Tiger Stencil is a simple camouflage skin: tiger stripes in smoke and sand over a grey-green Tec-9. Because the float range ends early, Battle-Scarred copies keep more of the pattern than the grade name suggests, with damage concentrated on the shroud and magazine edges. It is the cheapest way to get the stripes in your loadout.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and grip are finished in a flat grey-green with a few copper-toned details such as the trigger and the bolt knob. Tiger striping in smoke and sand covers the perforated barrel shroud and runs along the top of the receiver, ending at a copper-coloured muzzle.
The shroud and muzzle show heavy wear, and the magazine edges and base are clearly chipped. Because the range stops early, the stripes on the magazine body remain largely visible. In game the weapon reads as a battered camouflage pistol rather than a stripped one. The grip and the middle of the frame sides keep most of their grey-green paint.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.6
The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Tiger Stencil is 0–0.6; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.6 segment (25% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Sport & Field Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Sand, tan, olive and brown stickers blend with the tiger stripes and the grey-green frame. Copper or bronze accents echo the muzzle and trigger. Placements on the flat receiver side stand out best against the plain paint.
What to check before buying
- Compare the float within the grade, since copies near the cleaner end show noticeably less chipping on the shroud.
- Look at the shroud hole rims and the magazine base, as these are the first places to lose paint.
- Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so check whether they fit the look you want.
- Check for applied stickers or a name tag, which may change how the item suits you.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Players looking for the cheapest entry to this skin.
- Those who want a battered look that still keeps the magazine stripes.
- The budget grade that loses less than its name suggests.
