Skin overview

Bone Pile keeps its character in Field-Tested: the olive body and the light skull cluster on the receiver still stand out clearly. Scuffs appear on the edges of the rail, magazine and stock, which suits the rough, field-worn mood of the design. It is the most affordable way to own this skin without losing the main motif.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New and Minimal Wear. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The whole weapon is painted in an olive green spray finish, with a slightly darker tone on the top rail and the handguard rails. The main motif sits on the side of the receiver above the magazine well: a pile of beige, bone-coloured skulls with soft shading, placed over thin lines of a wiring diagram.

Wear spreads along the rail edges, the muzzle, the corners of the magazine and the outer frame of the stock, where the green paint thins and lighter spots appear. Light scratches may reach the skull cluster, but the skulls stay recognisable. In game the weapon still reads as olive green with a pale motif, and the scuffs add a used look. Copies near the cleaner end of this grade look noticeably tidier than those near the worst end.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.34

The float of Souvenir UMP-45 | Bone Pile ranges from 0.06 to 0.34; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.34 — 68% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Bravo Collection with 15 skins in total.

The source is Operation Bravo Case (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in beige, bone white, brown or muted gold sit well against the olive body and echo the skulls. Placing them along the magazine or the side of the stock keeps the skull cluster on the receiver uncovered.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, especially in Field-Tested, where the spread in condition is wide.
  • Look at the skull cluster on the receiver, since scratches on it change the look more than wear on the stock or magazine.
  • Inspect the muzzle, rail edges and magazine corners, which lose paint first.
  • Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy, and check any applied stickers or name tag.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Budget buyers who want the skull motif on their SMG for regular play.
  • Players who like a used, field-worn look that fits the military green.
  • The most accessible entry into Bone Pile with the main design still clear.
