Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the roughest version of this radiation-warning UMP-45: much of the red is gone and metal shows across the receiver and stock. The trefoil sections remain readable mainly on the flat side panels. It is the grade for players who like a battered look and want the cheapest way into the theme.

Item type: smg. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, handguard and skeleton stock are painted deep red, with large charcoal sections that form fragments of a radiation trefoil. Near the rear of the receiver one segment of the sign shows in bright red on a dark field.

Most painted surfaces are heavily worn, with metal showing across the stock, the top of the receiver and the handguard. The red survives in patches, mainly on the flat side panels. In game the gun reads as weathered grey-red, while the magazine and grip change little since they were never painted.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.8

The float of Souvenir UMP-45 | Fallout Warning ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 47% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black and yellow-and-black hazard-style stickers continue the warning theme. The flat red area on the receiver side behind the magazine well takes stickers best, and it is better not to cover the bright trefoil segment near the rear sight. Red holo or gold stickers sit well against the dark sections.

What to check before buying

  • Factory New copies exist only in a thin slice at the top of the grade, so compare their floats closely.
  • In inspect, look at the top of the receiver and the stock frame edges, since they wear first.
  • Check how the trefoil sections fall on the receiver side if the placement of the sign matters to you.
  • On Souvenir copies, look at the applied stickers and whether they suit the red scheme.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Budget entry for players who want the theme on their UMP-45.
  • Fans of heavily weathered finishes where metal shows through the paint.
  • The choice for those who value the battered look over clean paint.
