Skin overview

Moonrise turns the UMP-45 into a small night landscape: violet sky, red glow and a grey city line running along the body. In Minimal Wear the colours stay just as rich, and any marks are limited to tiny specks on edges that are hard to spot in a match. It gives nearly the same look as the cleanest grade at a more relaxed entry point.

Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Airbrushed: a coloured coating with an airbrushed design on top; the coating holds while the design fades with wear.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver and handguard carry the main artwork: a deep violet sky that brightens into red and pink tones toward the rear of the receiver and near the front sight. A grey and dark city skyline runs along the lower part of the receiver, set against the night sky, with the full moon as part of the scene.

Small scuffs may appear on the sharpest edges, such as the top rail and the front of the handguard. The gradient and the skyline remain fully intact. At normal viewing distance in game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The grey parts stay clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir UMP-45 | Moonrise is 0–0.4; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (20% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Purple, pink, red and holo or foil stickers in cool tones blend with the night sky. Dark or silver stickers placed on the grey magazine or stock keep the skyline on the receiver uncovered.

What to check before buying

• The city landscape is randomized, so compare the skyline and the position of the moon on the specific copy.
• The Steam description hints at a North Star in the sky, so check whether the chosen pattern shows it if that matters to you.
• Look at the top rail, rear sight and front of the handguard, as these parts scratch first.
• Check applied stickers and the name tag, since they change how the night scene looks.
