Souvenir UMP-45 | Oscillator (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

Battle-Scarred Oscillator keeps the orange and black wave pattern but shows clear patches of exposed metal on the upper edges and front of the UMP-45. Because the float range of this skin ends early in Battle-Scarred, copies in this grade are not as heavily stripped as on skins with a full range. It is the most affordable way to get the orange-on-dark look.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The anodized finish covers the receiver, the top rail, the handguard and the front sight area with vertical orange bands broken up by black and grey wavy lines that look like contour lines or signal waves. Small orange flecks and splashes sit around the front of the gun and near the muzzle.

Wear is heaviest on the top rail, front sight, muzzle end and all upper edges, where bare metal breaks up the wave lines. Scratches extend onto the sides of the handguard and receiver. Since the range stops early in this grade, the orange still covers a good part of the side panels and the gun stays recognisable in game. The plain grey parts look much as before.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5

The whole float range of Souvenir UMP-45 | Oscillator is 0–0.5; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.5 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir UMP-45 | Oscillator belongs to The Snakebite Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from Snakebite Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Orange, black and grey stickers blend with the pattern, while gold or holo stickers with warm tones add accent without clashing. The plain grey magazine area keeps darker or monochrome stickers readable.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the inspect view to see how much orange falls on the visible side, since the pattern is randomized.
• Check the top rail and front sight first, as these lose colour before the rest of the gun.
• Compare float within the grade, because a low float in Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner than a high one.
• Check for applied stickers or a name tag and decide whether they fit your plans.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

• Budget players who want the cheapest entry into this skin.
• Fans of worn finishes, since the short range keeps the damage moderate.
• Conclusion: the entry grade that still looks like Oscillator.
