Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the most worn state of UMP-45 | Riot, where only fragments of the yellow and green paint remain on the top edges. The dark carbon-style body dominates, and the bright accents survive mainly in recessed areas. It is the entry point into the skin for those who like a heavily used look.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The base of the finish is a dark charcoal and olive tone with a carbon-weave texture visible on the receiver and the stock. The upper receiver, top rail and handguard are covered with irregular yellow and green camouflage splashes, which also touch the muzzle area and the top of the stock.

Only fragments of yellow and green remain on the top rail, handguard and muzzle. The magazine is heavily scratched along its edges and the stock frame is worn on its outer surfaces. In game the gun reads mostly as dark with faint yellow traces. Paint survives mainly in recesses and on the less exposed sides.

The whole float range of Souvenir UMP-45 | Riot is 0–0.7; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.7 segment (36% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Yellow, black and olive stickers continue the camo palette and sit well on the dark side of the receiver. Small holo or gold stickers in warm tones complement the yellow accents without overloading the design.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since it decides how much yellow remains on the top rail.
• Inspect the top rail, muzzle and upper receiver edges, as these lose paint first.
• Look at the magazine edges, which show scratches clearly against the light grey.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether they fit the yellow and dark scheme.
