Skin overview

The hand painted teal and cyan block pattern of UMP-45 | Scaffold takes on a rough character in Battle-Scarred. Large patches of paint are gone from edges and raised parts, and the depth illusion becomes fragmented. It suits a buyer who wants the colour scheme and does not mind a heavily used surface.

Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver is painted dark teal, with a band of bright cyan faceted blocks along its side that are shaded to look like raised bricks. The magazine repeats the same pattern of angled cyan tiles over its full length.

Large areas of paint are missing from the magazine, stock and top of the receiver. The cyan tiles survive only in fragments, so the brick wall looks broken up. In game the gun reads as teal and metal grey rather than a clean pattern.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1

The whole float range of Souvenir UMP-45 | Scaffold is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir UMP-45 | Scaffold belongs to The Spectrum Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from Spectrum Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in cyan, white, silver or holo blue blend with the brick pattern and keep the palette calm. Placing them on the plain teal stock or lower receiver avoids covering the faceted blocks.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within its wear grade, since lower values keep the magazine edges and stock outline cleaner.
  • Look at the magazine first, because its tiled edges show wear earlier than the receiver.
  • Inspect the cyan blocks on the receiver to see whether the depth effect is still intact.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag, as they change the look of the receiver side.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • The lowest-cost entry for players who simply want the colours.
  • Fans of heavily worn finishes with exposed metal.
  • Suits those who value price over a clean pattern.
