Show allAllSkin overview
Field-Tested is where the Caiman starts to look used, and the darker slide hides scratches better than a bright finish would. The eye and the red grip remain the main colour accents and are easy to read in game. Wear shows mostly on the slide edges and the front of the grip.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The silencer is left in plain dark grey and serves as a neutral frame for the artwork. The slide is dark, with a band of teal-blue scales along its side and the USP TACTICAL marking, ending at the rear in a large orange-red eye with a black slit pupil.
Scuffs spread along the slide edges, and the area around the eye shows noticeable wear without erasing it. The front edges of the red grip begin to lose paint, revealing grey metal in small patches. The teal scales become slightly faded in places. In game the overall look still reads clearly, with the eye and grip as the main accents.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir USP-S | Caiman ranges from 0 to 0.4; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 57% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Huntsman Collection with 20 skins in total.
The source is Huntsman Weapon Case (on sale since Jun 11, 2014).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Orange, red or teal stickers echo the eye and the scale band and keep the composition unified. Placing them on the dark middle part of the slide works better than covering the eye, which is the main element of the artwork. Dark or holo stickers in green-blue tones also sit well against the grey silencer and frame.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the wear, since a low float in a grade keeps the slide edges noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the eye at the rear of the slide, as it is the focal point and among the first areas to wear.
- Check the front edges of the red grip for bare metal on worn copies.
- Review applied stickers and any name tag to make sure they suit the orange and teal scheme.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who mainly look at the pistol in first person, where the dark slide hides scratches.
- Buyers who want the recognisable eye and red grip at a moderate level of wear.
- A practical everyday option for the CT side.
