Skin overview

The Cyrex finish relies on contrast: a charcoal slide and silencer, red technical stripes and a light lower frame. Minimal Wear keeps that contrast almost intact, with only small marks at the very edges that are hard to spot in game. It gives nearly the same look as Factory New at a less demanding grade.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The slide is dark graphite with a fine scratched texture, white USP TACTICAL lettering and a red block of parallel lines near the rear, plus thin red stripes along the top. The silencer matches the slide in dark grey, carries small white technical text, a red ring around its middle and a red triangle on the collar.

Tiny marks may appear on the slide edges and the muzzle end of the silencer. The red stripes and lettering stay intact. At normal distance in game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The frame, grip and silencer body remain clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir USP-S | Cyrex ranges from 0 to 0.55; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 15% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black, white and holographic red stickers fit the scheme best, placed on the dark slide where they continue the technical look. Avoid bright blues, greens and yellows that compete with the red accents.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the slide edges and red stripes change visibly between low and high values of the same grade.
• Inspect the front of the silencer and its red ring, as they wear early and are always in view.
• Look at the light lower frame for grey scuffs, which stand out more than marks on the dark parts.
• Check applied stickers and the name tag, and decide whether a StatTrak™ counter matters to you.
