Skin overview

Flashback is a khaki-green USP-S decorated like a soldier's personal kit, with painted slogans and a peace sign. Because the skin's float range stops short of the deepest wear, Battle-Scarred copies are less damaged than on many full-range skins: the lettering is worn through in places, but the design stays readable. This is the most rugged version of a finish that was meant to look aged.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The silencer carries a large hand-painted SHHH! in cream over a mottled olive-green base with darker speckling. The slide shows BORN TO CLUTCH inside an outlined frame, with smaller handwritten marks near its rear and along its side.

The lettering on the silencer and slide is worn through in many spots, and metal shows along the edges of the whole pistol. The peace sign and grip paint are scuffed but still visible. Because the range ends before extreme values, the design is not erased the way it is on the dirtiest skins. In game it reads as a heavily used olive pistol with traces of writing.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.5

The float of Souvenir USP-S | Flashback ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.5 — 10% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Olive, brown, cream and muted gold stickers fit the military palette, as do text or stamp-style designs that echo the handwritten slogans. Place them on the free area of the slide or near the rear so the main lettering stays visible.

What to look at before you buy

• Check the SHHH! lettering on the silencer, since it is the first large element to lose paint.
• Look at where the float sits within the grade, especially in Field-Tested, where low and high copies differ noticeably.
• Inspect stickers on the slide, as they can cover the BORN TO CLUTCH text.
• Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy, since both versions exist for this skin.
