Souvenir USP-S | Guardian (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

USP-S | Guardian is recognised by its blue slide and the CT logo stenciled on the magazine, with the rest of the pistol kept in muted greys. The float range ends inside Field-Tested, so even the most worn copies avoid heavy damage. Here the slide edges show lighter scuffs, but the overall blue tone still reads clearly at playing distance.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New and Minimal Wear. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide is painted cobalt blue with a lighter, mottled blue pattern and carries the USP TACTICAL marking on its side. The silencer is dark grey with white text and a logo near its rear end, giving a small bright accent to the front of the pistol.

In Field-Tested the slide edges and top show visible lighter scuffs where the blue paint has thinned, and the silencer muzzle is more noticeably rubbed. The pattern on the slide sides is still readable, though slightly faded in places. Since the float range stops within this grade, the wear stays moderate even on the highest floats. In game the pistol still reads as blue, with the scuffs visible mainly in inspect.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir USP-S | Guardian is 0–0.38; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (61% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Phoenix Collection with 13 skins in total.

It drops from Operation Phoenix Weapon Case (on sale since Feb 19, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Blue, silver and white stickers match the cobalt slide and the white markings on the silencer. Placements on the slide keep the craft within the painted area, while a single sticker on the silencer can echo its white text.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since lower values keep the slide edges cleaner.
• Inspect the top and edges of the slide, as these lose paint first.
• Look at the muzzle end of the silencer for rubbed paint on Field-Tested copies.
• Note any stickers or name tag, and whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir, since both variants exist.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Budget buyers looking for an entry into this skin with moderate wear.
• CT players who mainly care about the blue look at playing distance.
• Conclusion: an accessible version that still keeps its colour.
