Skin overview

Monster Mashup is recognisable even when heavily damaged thanks to its neon green and teal palette. In Battle-Scarred large areas of the slide graffiti and silencer pattern are worn away, giving the pistol a beaten, scraped look. It suits players who like a rough, weathered version of loud artwork.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The slide is painted bright neon green with black graffiti strokes, a yellow stripe and an X mark near the rear. Below it, along the frame, runs a row of white triangular teeth that forms the monster's mouth, while the grip carries yellow, orange and green shapes resembling a monster eye with red accents, and the trigger has a pink-to-yellow gradient.

Large parts of the slide graffiti are worn through to dark metal, and the teeth along the frame are chipped. The silencer pattern is heavily scraped toward the muzzle and the emblem may be partly lost. In game the pistol reads as a dark, scratched base with patches of green. Only the more protected areas, such as the trigger and the base of the silencer, keep their colour fairly well.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Neon green, yellow and black stickers blend with the slide graffiti, while teal or holo stickers echo the silencer. Placing a sticker on the slide works best when it does not cover the teeth row, which is the strongest element of the design.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show far fewer scuffs on the slide.
• Inspect the slide edges and the muzzle end of the silencer, as these lose paint first.
• Look at the grip and the row of teeth on the frame to judge how intact the monster motif is.
• Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change the look of the busy artwork.
