Souvenir USP-S | Serum (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

USP-S | Serum combines a chrome base with reflective red, olive and black pixel blocks. Because its float range ends early in Field-Tested, copies in this grade are only lightly worn compared with other skins. Small scuffs on edges and the silencer front add a used look while the pattern stays fully readable.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New and Minimal Wear. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The silencer is covered in dark olive and black blocks with large metallic red patches running along its length. The slide carries the same digital pattern, with the USP TACTICAL marking visible on its side and red areas breaking up the darker paint.

Scuffs become visible on the silencer front, along the top of the slide, on the trigger guard and on the grip edges. Chrome shows through in small spots, which blends fairly well with the metallic paints. Since the range stops early in this grade, the side surfaces of the slide and silencer keep most of their pattern. In game the skin still reads as red digital camo, just with slightly duller edges.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.25

The whole float range of Souvenir USP-S | Serum is 0–0.25; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.25 segment (40% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir USP-S | Serum belongs to The Arms Deal 2 Collection, which holds 12 skins.

It drops from CS:GO Weapon Case 2 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black and silver or holo stickers match the metallic palette of the finish. Placements on the slide near the USP TACTICAL marking or on the silencer keep the sticker in view without hiding the red patches. Bright blue or yellow stickers tend to clash with the dark olive areas.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since low and high copies of the same grade can differ on the edges.
• Inspect the silencer tip and the top edge of the slide, as these lose paint first.
• Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir and whether it carries stickers that suit the red pattern.
• Look for a name tag if you prefer a clean item name.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Budget buyers who want the Serum look for everyday play.
• Players who like a slightly used appearance with the pattern still readable.
• A sensible entry point, since this grade stays only lightly worn for this skin.
