Skin overview

Battle-Scarred Monster Melt shows the artwork heavily worn, with large areas of bare metal cutting through the monsters and the pink furniture. The bright colours survive mostly in recessed spots, giving the shotgun a scraped, grungy version of its cartoon look. It is the entry grade for those who like the theme and do not mind damage.

Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver of the XM1014 is packed with cartoon monsters in teal, mint green, yellow, purple and pink, with drips and blobs that give the melting effect. The barrel and magazine tube stay dark grey with small colourful spots scattered along them, which frames the busy centre.

Large patches of metal show through the receiver, the grip and the stock, and many monsters are only partly visible. The barrel and muzzle are heavily scraped. Colour remains mainly in recessed areas, so in game the shotgun looks rough and patchy.

Stickers and crafts

Pastel stickers in pink, teal, mint or yellow blend with the monster artwork, and cartoon-style stickers fit the theme. Placing them on the dark barrel area gives contrast without hiding the characters on the receiver.
