Show allAllSkin overview
Slipstream is built on a simple contrast: gunmetal grey layered with turquoise smoke and a bright cyan grip. At Minimal Wear the difference from a pristine copy comes down to faint marks on edges that are hard to spot in a match. It is a sensible way to get the clean look while paying for a less strict grade.
Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The receiver is finished in dark gunmetal grey with smoky lighter swirls and a pixel-like cyan pattern running along its side, while the top rail stays dark. The barrel and magazine tube carry long turquoise streaks over grey, with bright cyan rings at the muzzle and on the front sight.
Light marks may appear on the muzzle tip and along the sharpest edges of the top rail. The receiver pattern, pump and grip remain clean and fully coloured. At normal distance in game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir XM1014 | Slipstream is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Gamma 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Gamma 2 Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in cyan, teal, silver or black fit the cool palette, while white holo or foil accents echo the bright grip. Placing them along the dark receiver side keeps them visible against the grey without clashing with the blue streaks.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show less damage on the muzzle and rail.
- Look at the muzzle, top rail and pump ribs first, as these parts lose paint before the rest of the shotgun.
- Inspect the cyan pistol grip, because its bright colour makes rubbed spots easy to notice in first-person view.
- Check applied stickers and name tags, as they change the look and do not always add value for every buyer.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a clean-looking shotgun without paying for the strictest grade.
- Sticker crafters who accept faint edge marks that are barely visible in game.
- Conclusion: a balanced pick between appearance and cost.
